Symbol Definition
\(e\) The explanation of the model’s prediction.
\(x\) The input to the model that is being explained.
\(xc\) The counterfactual input to the model that is being explained.
\(\hat{y}\) The model’s prediction.
\(\widetilde{y}\) The human’s prediction.
\(\hat{yc}\) The model’s prediction for the counterfactual input.
\(f\) The model that is being explained.
\(g\) The explainer that is used to explain the model.
